Step 1: Unbox and Inspect Your Trezor®

Begin by unboxing your Trezor® device and checking for any tampering. Each device comes with a holographic seal and a recovery card. Do not use the device if the seal is broken. This step guarantees you start with a genuine, secure device.

Step 2: Connect Your Device

Visit Trézor.io/Start® and select your Trezor® model. Connect the device to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The website will automatically guide you through the setup process with clear, interactive instructions.

Step 3: Install Trezor Suite

Trezor Suite is the official desktop and web app that allows you to manage your crypto. Download and install it on your computer. Once installed, Trezor Suite will detect your device and help you initialize it.

Step 4: Initialize Your Wallet

You can either create a new wallet or recover an existing one using your 12–24 word recovery phrase. If you’re setting up a new wallet, the device will generate a unique recovery seed—write it down on the recovery card and keep it in a safe location. This seed is the only way to restore your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.
